need to get bigger

flock of 25 cormorants (biggest i've ever seen on migration) over canoe lake then continued southwest, it's autumn.

couldn't resist having a go for a roseate that was seen at fort vic last night. one of my fave species. no sign of it this morning unfortunately but 7 little terns there, haven't seen any of those on the island for a few years. a good video of the roseate here  http://bedfordshirewild.blogspot.co.uk/. on the way home i spotted 6 hares together in a field at whale chine, don't think i'd ever seen a group of hares before.

No luck catching my own lately...

an iow tick, found six of these on a pool on the edge of brading marsh between the airport and windmill. too distant for my macro lens tho.
