conditions looked ok for my first (!) seawatch of the winter. in 2 hours at splash point there was enough going east to keep me entertained with 1060 razorbills, 40 red-throated divers, 6 great crested grebes, 13 scoters, 15 brents, 3 curlews, and the highlight 2 little gulls.

9 waxwings in a berry tree in ash close, eastbourne, but they were calling loudly when i arrived and soon flew off towards shinewater.

was working in littlehampton yesterday which gave me a chance to catch up with the durrington waxwings (unbelievably a year tick) and warningcamp bewick's.
