pics are from back in march

yesterday 2 green sandpipers were at west rise. an hour's seawatch at beachy in an east wind was a bit slow and everything was miles away - saw about 100 little gulls, 50 commics and an arctic skua. best bird was a black redstart singing its little heart out. the part of the song i most like - the gravelly, crackling bit - was bouncing well off the cliffs.

yesterday a greenshank and 3 lapwing at west rise. at least one bearded tit still knocking about there recently.

a greenshank and 3 dunlin on the cuckmere. spoonbill still. a few nightingales were singing in abbots wood.

not definite but i think the flyover house sparrow i saw today was a garden tick!

it's on the list
