yesterday - a firecrest at south hill barn as i got out the car but i peaked too soon and saw nothing after that not even a wwarbler. also had my first swift, late this year.

today a few waders seen. 1 greenshank, 1 dunlin, 4 common sands, 6 yellow wags and 2 swifts at the res. 1 barwit, 1 dunlin, 1 ringed plover and 3 common sands down the cuckmere. 9 dunlin at rodmell. 5 greenland wheatears seen at various sites.
